Good afternoon,

I saw that there is an article about reprogramming Audi flip key fobs, which is exactly what i have.

Unfortuantely, part of the instructions require inserting the key blade and switching to on.

The 2016 Audi Q3 uses bluetooth or something similar, and does not have an ignition slot.

Before I buy a replacement key: Can it be self programmed?

Do I follow the instructions on Youcanic page, but press the ignition button without turning on the engine?

Has anyone been able to do this for a car that uses the keyless start technology?

My understanding is that the instructions work on older keys not new ones. Correct me if I am wrong.

Oh, I am afraid you are in a bit of a pickle. If there is no ignition slot, it won't work for you.

I think, just go to the local dealer and get a new one :)
