My husband recently replaced rack and pinion, now our horn and other controls on steering wheel will not work also airbag and track control/stabilizer lights on. If he did not line up rack to steer column perfectly will it cause this problem and can he redo the process to correct or just go ahead and replace the clockspring? If he created the issue is it really a bad clock spring or just a bad connection angle?

Horn and the steering wheel buttons should work regardless. The fact that they do not work it is an indication that the clock Spring is damaged and needs to be replaced. Unless he forgot to connect it.

Have you figured out the problem yet? If not, maybe you want to read the check engine codes and post them here.
