Question Details

Sister in law has an 2003 mercedes e200 estate and both rear side are to low to even get a jack under it, eventually getting it raised up expecting to see leaking shocks but there was shocks and bilstein air bags. From googling it says that there is a air compressor under the passenger headlight (Irish car) but when she rang a mechanic they said there is no compressor in that car any help would be greatly appreciated

If it has airbags, it makes sense that it will have an air compressor. Otherwise how else can you get compressed air into the airbags?

Do you see airlines on top of the airbags?

Found the compressor, disconnected the hose and reconnect it when turbet the car on compressor kicked in and raised the car. But dropped again overnight. Don't hear any leak so I guessing that it's a bad compressor

It seems that the compressor is working ok. In my opinion there is a leak somewhere. Since it is taking hours for it to leak, you won't be able to hear it.

Use soap and water on the lines to find the leak.

It will be tricky to pin point.

Let us know how it goes.

Car stayed up for a week used soapy water no signs of a leak on the line, track the line to the joint under the back seat, that was ok, under the car to the 3 way split no leak there either, the connection on each bag no leaks. Notice another connection on the bags (electrical looking) any ideas before I pull out what little hair I have left
