Hi, I was driving my Mercedes and got stuck in some mud one of my rear wheels was spinning and knocking, since then I have a message display saying Runflat sensor inoperative, with warning lights ESP, EsSP off and ABS staying on whilst driving. The car was fine before and only just passed its MOT the day before with no issues. The tyre pressures are all good and have been reset. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Hi Ken sorry to hear about your troubles.

That is not normal. My guess would be that the wheel ABS sensor on that wheel got daamged or it is covered in dirt.

You can remove and clean it. Or you can replace it as they are not very expensive.

But if the problem remains, you will need to read the fault codes. A geneeric OBD2 scanner will not be much help, you will need a scanner tha t can read Mercedes specific codes.

Let us know how it goes.
