Hi. I have a C200cdi W204. I need to know where I can find the transmission range sensor. My transmission does not change gears and it gave me the code P0705 when I scanned the car. Can you please help

Comments

Tranmission range sensor is mounted on the valve body.

Do you know if your car has the 5 speed or 7 speed transmission?

I have a 7g tronic automatic transmission. Is it part of the valve body or does it simply attach to it

It attaches to the conductor plate which mounts on top of the valve body. The conductor plate has the TCU on in as well.

Thank you very much. You have been extremely helpful. I really appreciate it. Take care

Glad I could help. If you end up replacing the part yourself, consider posting a DIY guide.
