Hi there everyone, I need help with the following:

1 Car = Mercedes 1997 e230 automatic.

2 Problem = We have installed another transmission box, however the car does not change gears on time only when it reaches 3500rpm, or it losses acceleration power when it gets to those rpms then switches off.

3. We have drained the oil and put in new transmission oil + filter + seal.

4. The problem persists even after it was diagonised and it referred to the can sensor which we have since replaced and cleared the fault codes however the problem won't go away.

5. Can someone help me out please .

Did you have the same problem with old gearbox?

Which fault codes did you have?

@ Boki tnx i have found out that the problem is the catalytic converter.....so I must replace the muffler.
