I am trying to work out what this fault code relates to on a mercedes sprinter box van 2011 Vehaile has lack of power but i do not think this is a fuel related issue and it will not let me delete fault code to go on test drive to see if the fault returns there cant be a problem with the sam unit i would have thought not 2011 plate vehicle ?

any ideas

It can still be a SAM problem even in the pre 2010 models.

But I would not blame the Sam, at least not yet.

Did you do a full system scan? What scanner are you using?

Hi there yes i did a full scan and i am using a snap on verus machine i just cant see any postings of this fault code i am getting 90B5 - N10 SAM CONTROL UNIT IS FAULTY

What other symptoms do you notice? N10 is Front  SAM which means you should have some lights that are acting wired.

To replace it you will need a virgin Front SAM. It will also need to be flashed with the correct VIN and the settings from the old SAM must be transferred to the new unit. You will also need Xentry Flash access authorization to complete the N10 module programming.

I am not sure that your snap on versus will allow you to do the programming or not. Star Diagnostic scanner with the correct license will though.

Let us know which route you go.
