I have a 2017 VW Passat and the warning light for the brake fluid keeps coming up. Added brake fluid about two months ago and now the warning is back on. What could be the problem.

Hi vwgearhead,
It sounds like you have a slow leak on one of the brake lines. I would recommend that you park the vehicle in the same spot every night. In the morning, look at the ground for any possible leaks. you may not see the leak right away but over time you should see a wet spot on the floor.

Btw, this is a new car so I would take it to the dealer to have them fix it under warranty. Have you contacted the dealer yet?

Just found out that there is a recall for this problem. If you browse to VW - Passat - 2017 under problems you should see recall 17V-075.
