I would be grateful for any advice or wiring details for fitting two LED strip lights behind the grill to be used as driving lights on mountain roads in Highlands of Scotland, activated by high beams, combined 36w draw from intended driving lights.

The bulbs fitted are halogen and look think they are standard, l am not happy with the cover of the main beam, so l want to fit these LED strip driving lights inside the grill to give me extra driving light cover on high beam only, could l run them off the high beam supply or would it overload the circuit or ko the SAM unit. Or should l use the high beam feed as a signal for a separate relay circuit driven from a fused 12v battery feed, l could fit a dash switch but don’t want to naff up the look of the cockpit, any input appreciated. phil.
