Replacement Interval

According to the owner's manual, you need to replace the spark plugs every 100,000 miles. The OEM spark plugs are platinum, and we recommend you either use platinum or iridium spark plugs.

If you decide to install cheap copper spark plugs, you will need to replace the spark plugs in 30,000 miles.

If you don't change the spark plugs on time, you will notice that your engine isn't running as smoothly as it used to. Your fuel economy may decrease. If the spark plugs are in bad condition, you may also have the check engine light come on or flash. Please don't wait until it is too late to change the spark plugs on your Dodge Challenger.
