What you will need

Procedure

  1. Remove the airbag and steering wheel. Click here to see the procedures on how to remove the airbag and steering wheel.
  2. Remove the clock spring. Click here to see the procedures on how to remove the clock spring.
  3. Remove the two T10 screws on the turn signal switch using a T10 screwdriver.The location of the two screws on the turn signal switch.

     

  4. Pull the turn signal switch out of the vehicle.Pulling the turn signal light out of the vehicle.

     

  5. Line up the new turn signal switch and push it in.Installing the new turn signal switch of the Ford Fusion.

     

  6. Reinstall the two T10 screws and tighten them by turning them clockwise.Reinstalling the T10 screws on the turn signal switch.

     

  7. Remove the two T10 screws on the wiper switch using a T10 screwdriver.The location of the two T10 screws on the wiper switch.

     

  8. Pull the wiper switch out of the vehicle. Reinstall the T10 screw on the wiper switch.
  9. Reinstall the clock spring.Reinstalling the clock spring of the Ford Fusion.

     

  10. Reinstall the steering wheel and airbag.Reinstalling the steering wheel.
