How to replace the window regulator and its motor on a Ford Fusion 2013-2020.

What you will need
- Ford Fusion Window Regulator Motor
- Ford Fusion Window Regulator
- Prying tool
- Pick tool
- Mechanic Toolset
- 10mm socket
- T30 Torx bit socket
Procedure
- Remove the door panel. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for the removal of the door panel.
- Remove the window. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for the window removal process.
- Remove the cover of the window regulator motor by pulling it out using a prying tool or pick tool.
- Disconnect the electrical connector of the motor by pressing the clip and pulling the connector out.
- Remove the five 10mm bolts holding the door panel by using a 10mm nut driver or a 10mm socket and twisting it counterclockwise to loosen.
- Reach inside the door and carry the window regulator and the motor out of the vehicle.
- To replace the motor, remove the three T30 bolts and pull the motor out of the window regulator. Use a T30 Torx bit socket to remove the bolts.
- Line up the new motor to the window regulator and reinstall the three T30 bolts.
- Install the window regulator and motor to the door. Place the piece inside the door and line it up to its proper position.
- Reinstall the five 10mm bolts holding the whole window regulator piece. Twist the bolts clockwise to tighten.
- Reconnect the electrical connector of the motor by pushing the connector into the motor.
- Line up the cover of the window regulator motor and press it in until it snaps into place.
