Jump Start Dead Battery Honda Fit 2009-2013

What you will need

• Jumper Cables
• Jump Box

Procedure

1. Unlock the vehicle. If the battery is dead and the car won't unlock, insert the metal key into the door lock and twist it counterclockwise to open the car manually.
2. Pull the hood release under the dashboard, go to the front.Unlock the hood latch and pull the hood up. 

    

   
3. Locate the battery on the driver's side of the engine compartment.

    

4. Get the jumper cables or the jump box. 

    

5. Clip the red jumper cable to the positive terminal of the battery. 
6. Clip the black jumper cable to the negative terminal of the battery or ground terminal of the vehicle.

    

7. If you are using jumper cables, clip the jumper cables to the other vehicle. Make sure that the wires are connected to the correct terminals. Red on Red. Black on Black. 

8. Let the battery charge for a few minutes and start the vehicle.
