  1. Unlock the vehicle. If the battery is dead and the car won't unlock, insert the metal key into the door lock and twist it counterclockwise to open the car manually.
  2. Pull the hood release under the dashboard, go to the front.The hood release of the 2011 Honda Fit.Unlock the hood latch and pull the hood up.

  3. Locate the battery on the driver's side of the engine compartment.The Battery of the 2011 Honda Fit

     

  4. Get the jumper cables or the jump box. Charging the battery using a jump box.

     

  5. Clip the red jumper cable to the positive terminal of the battery. Connecting the positive cable to the positive terminal.
  6. Clip the black jumper cable to the negative terminal of the battery or ground terminal of the vehicle.Connecting the negative cable to the ground terminal of the vehicle.

     

  7. If you are using jumper cables, clip the jumper cables to the other vehicle. Make sure that the wires are connected to the correct terminals. Red on Red. Black on Black. 

  8. Let the battery charge for a few minutes and start the vehicle.
