Procedure
- Remove the clockspring. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for the removal of the clock spring.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors of the combination switch by pressing the clip and pulling the connector out.
- Pull the tab on the wiper switch using a flat screwdriver.
- Remove the wiper switch by pulling it out from the turn signal switch steering column bracket.
- Locate the two clips behind the turn signal switch attached to the steering column.
- Pull the two clips together using a flat screwdriver to unlock them.
- Remove the turn signal switch by pulling it out from the steering column.
- Line up the new turn signal switch to the steering column and push it to lock it in position.
- Place the new wiper switch to the steering column bracket and push it in until it snaps into place.
- Reinstall the clockspring. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures of the installation process of the clockspring.
