2011-16 Hyundai Elantra License Plate Light Bulb Replacement

Instructions on how to replace the license plate light bulb on Hyundai Elantra. Model years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016.

Changing the license plate light bulb on a Hyundai Elantra is easy and takes less than 10 minutes. There are two bulbs that illuminate the rear license plate. If one of them burns out, make sure to replace both of them at the same. You don't want to change one of the bad bulbs today and two months later have to do the same job again. These bulbs are very inexpensive.

Step 1

Pop the rear trunk lid and lift it up. It is easier to replace the license plate bulb with the rear trunk lid open. Remove the license plate light bulb assembly by pushing it sideways than down. diy replace license plate light hyundai elantra
