What you will need

Procedure

  1. Open the glove box located by the front passenger seat just above the footwell.Opening the glove box of the Mazda 3.

     

  2. Remove everything out of your glove box. Pull the tabs on the sides of the glove box to drop it down.Pressing the side of the glove box to unlock the side tabs.

  3. Pull the bar on the right to detach it out from the glove box and have wider access to the cabin air filter.Pulling the bar holding the glove box. 2

     

  4. Pull up the tab and the cabin air filter out to remove it.The tab on the cabin air filter.

  5. Line up the new cabin air filter and push it in to set it into place.Installing the new cabin air filter.

  6. Reattach the bar on the right side of the glove box.Attaching the bar that holds the glove box.

     

  7. Push the glove box up to set it back to its original position.Closing the glove box.
