What you will need

Procedure

  1. Open the hood. Pull the hood release under the dashboard and locate the hood latch at the front of the vehicle. Pulling the hood release of the Nissan Sentra.

  9. Clean the air filter housing by removing the dirt and debris using a car vacuum.The air filter housing with a lot of dirt and debris.

     

  10. Place the new air filter to the outer air filter housing and make sure that it is in its proper orientation.Installing the new air filter of the Nissan Sentra.

     

  11. Line up the air filter housing and air intake hose back to the vehicle.Reinstalling the outer air filter housing and air intake back to the vehicle.

     

  12. Then press the metal clips to lock the air filter housing in place.Pulling the clips back to set the air filter housing back to its original position.
  13. Lower the hood and make sure it latches properly. Start the engine and make sure the engine runs properly.
