2018+ Kia Forte Window Switch & Side Mirror Adjust Switch Replacement

What you will need

• Kia Forte Window Switch
• Kia Forte Side Mirror Adjust Switch
• Flathead Screwdriver

Procedure

1. Remove the door panel. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for removing the door panel.

    

2. Locate the window switch and the side mirror adjust the switch on the back of the door panel.

    

3. Detach the tabs holding the window switch. Use a flat screwdriver to pull the tabs out from the window switch. 

    

   
4. Press on the three push tabs on the window switch and pull the window switch out of the door panel.

    

   
5. To install the new window switch, line it up into the door panel and press it in until it snaps into place.

    

6. Detach the tabs holding the side mirror adjust switch by using a flat screwdriver to pull the tabs out.

    

   
7. Press on the two push tabs on the side mirror adjust switch and pull it out to remove it.

    

   
8. To install the new side mirror adjust switch, line it up into the door panel and press it in until it snaps into position.

    

9. Reinstall the door panel. If you need help with this step, follow these procedures for installing the door panel.
