How to add windshield washer fluid to Chevrolet vehicles

In this guide, you will learn how to add windshield washer fluid to Chevrolet vehicles. Adding windshield washer fluid to a Chevrolet is very easy and takes only a few minutes. If your vehicle washer fluid is low you will get a warning message on your instrument cluster.

Add windshield washer fluid at your earliest convenience. Always use only windshield washer fluid in the washer fluid reservoir.  Do not use oils, engine coolant or antifreeze.

Open Hood

Open the hood of your vehicle to access the washer fluid reservoir.

Locate Chevrolet Windshield Fluid Reservoir

The washer fluid reservoir on Chevrolet is white or translucent and has a wiper symbol on top. See item 6. 

Open reservoir cap

Open the washer reservoir cap by lifting it up. On most Chevrolet vehicles the window fluid reservoir is located on the driver side towards the front and behind the headlight. 

Add windshield washer fluid

Add washer fluid until the level gets about two inches below the reservoir cap.
