Replacing the front side marker light bulb is easy but requires the removal of the headlight assembly.

Turn off the engine. Place the gear shifter in Park. Pull-on the hood release.
The side marker light bulb is all the way to the back of the headlight assembly. Remove the three bolts that hold the assembly in place. You will need two 10 mm bolts and one 12 mm bolt. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull the headlight assembly forward.
Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise. The tabs on the socket align with the slots on the headlight assembly. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling the bulb out.
Install the socket in the assembly by aligning the tabs on the socket with the slots in the assembly. Push the socket into the headlight assembly.
Turn the socket clockwise to lock it in place. Reinstall the light assembly on your Hyundai Elantra. Tighten the three bolts that secure the headlight assembly.
The recommended side marker bulb is type T10. LED or halogen.
