How to change Side Marker Light Bulb Hyundai Elantra 2011-2016

Learn how to replace the side marker light bulb on your Hyundai Elantra model years 2011-2016. The side marker bulb or parking light bulb is part of the rear tail light assembly.

  1. Open trunk

    Open the rear service cover. You will notice three 10 mm bolts. Remove all the bolts. Disconnect the electrical wire connector. Pull out the tail light assembly. 
  3. Change side marker light bulb

Line up the three tabs with the slots found on the tail light assembly. Insert the side marker socket and twist it. 
  4. Reinstall the tail light assembly. 
    Tighten the three 10 mm bolts. Close the service cover. Make sure to reconnect the electrical wire before you close the service cover.
