
Windshield

Chevrolet VIN numbers are stamped behind the windshield on the driver's side of the window. If you look at the lower corner of the windshield, you will see the VIN number. Example: 2GCRCPEC5K1140241
Driver's Door Jamb

Open the driver's door and locate the sticker that has the VIN number. This sticker will also have the production month and year of your Chevrolet.
Frame

You will also find your Chevrolet VIN number stamped on the frame. Open the hood and look at the engine bay.
The VIN will typically be located near the strut tower or firewall. The locations can vary between models. If you can't find the VIN in the engine bay, look in the passenger's footwell and the trunk area.
