Chrysler Crossfire Convertible Power Top Control Module AKS Replacement 2004-2007

Steps on how to replace the convertible top module (AKS) on Chrysler Crossfire 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. 
  2. Open the trunk of your Chrysler Crossfire. 
  3. Locate the Convertible Top Control Module AKS  on the left side of the trunk. chrysler crossfire convertible top aks location

     

  4. Remove the screw that holds the power top control module in place. remove power top control module ptcm chrysler crossfire

     

  5. Unplug the electrical connectors from the Convertible Top module. disconnect the control module power reset

     

  6. Install the new Convertible Top Module and reconnect the battery terminal.
