Chrysler Crossfire Disable Passenger Airbag

If an infant seat or child will be in the passenger seat, you need to turn off the passenger airbag. The passenger seat does not have a mat sensor, and the airbag needs to be turned off manually. Follow these instructions to turn off the passenger airbag on or off.

  1. Open the passenger door
  2. Locate the airbag on/off switch on the side of the airbag.
  3. Turn the switch to off.
  4. Passenger airbag will not deploy in case of an accident. Passenger airbag off light will illuminate.
  5. Remove key from the switch.
