Clear Lexus Garage Door Remote Memory

Procedure

1. Get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition. Do not start the engine.  For vehicles with the Start/Stop button, press the Start button twice without pressing the gas pedal. 
2. Press and hold the 1st and 3rd garage door buttons at the same time until you see the light flash. 
3. Get close to your garage and test the garage door buttons are deleted, and don’t open the garage door. 

Always delete the garage door memory when you sell your Lexus, rent it out, or if you decide to trade the vehicle in. 

Failing to delete the garage door memory can be a safety issue. The person who is using your car will be able to open your garage.
