What does Dyno Mode do? 

Dyno mode all you to disable various systems, including ABS, traction control, emergency braking, and stability control.  It also allows you to check the engine model battery voltage and display the VIN. These systems make the handling safer and more predictable, particularly in wet road conditions where you are more likely to lose control.

Procedure

  1. Push the engine start button once, and if you're using a key, turn it with one click. Do not step on the brake pedal when doing this procedure.Engine start button of the Mercedes-Benz GLK Class.

     

  2. Go to the trip and miles menu on your cluster. Use the left and right arrows on the left side of your steering wheel to locate the trip and miles menu on the cluster.Trip and miles menu on the cluster of Mercedes-Benz GLK Class.
  3. Go to Dyno Test. Press the phone button on the right side of your steering wheel, then press the OK button on the left side of your steering wheel. Hold both buttons pressed for five seconds.   4. Enable Dyno Test. Press the OK button on the steering wheel to enable the dyno mode. Then start your engine, and the cluster will show EBD, ABS, and traction control is off or unavailable.Dyno mode on the Mercedes-Benz GLK Class.

Should I drive with DYNO mode enabled? 

It is not recommended to drive with DYNO mode enabled.
