Procedure

  1. Put the vehicle in park.
  2. Wait for the engine to cool down.
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Remove ignition coil electrical connectors by using a small screwdriver to unlock the connectors.remove-connectors
  5. Loosen and remove 10 mm bolts that hold ignition coils in place.remove-bolts
  6. Pull out the ignition coils.pull-coils
  7. Remove the spark plugs using a spark plug socket.remove-spark=plugssparkplugs-removed
  8. Install and tighten the new spark plugs using a sparkplug socket.install-spark-plugs
  9. Reinstall the ignition coils.reinstall-coils
  10. Install and fasten 10mm coil retaining bolts.reinstall-bolts
  11. Reconnect electrical connectors.reconnect-connectors
