Procedure
- Unlock the vehicle and open the driver's door.
- Pull the hood release located under the dashboard.
- Go to the front of the vehicle.
- Unlock the hood latch by sliding your hand under the hood and sliding the tab above the emblem.
- Pull the hood up until the hydraulic hood struts are in the up position.

Notes
Safety Tips
- If the hood doesn't release it can be because the cable is broken or the hood latch is misaligned.
- If you are opening the hood on the side of the road, make sure to turn on the hazard lights.
- Always turn off the engine, place the shifter in Park, and set the parking brakes.
