Manual Shifter Release Out of Park Mitsubishi Mirage G4

What you will need

• Flat Screwdriver

Procedure

1. Go to the driver's seat.
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Remove the cover of the button on the gear shift using a flat screwdriver or a prying tool.

    

4. Push the button using a screwdriver or any thin rod that can fit onto the hole.
5. Hold on to the push button and move the gear stick.

   This helps the vehicle to put the gear to neutral when it is being towed.

The vehicle will roll away when the shifter is moved from Park to Neutral or Drive.
