Mitsubishi Trunk Liftgate Won't Stay Up

What you will need

• Trunk support struts
• Flat blade screwdriver
• Two people

Procedure

1. Open the tailgate, and have a friend keep it open. That way, it won't fall when you remove the struts.  
2. Pry off the covers on the top and bottom of the support struts and remove them, one side at a time.
3. Install the new struts. They snap right onto the little connectors.
4. Test them to make sure that the trunk stays open. 

Replacing the trunk supports on a Mitsubishi is very easy and can be completed in less than 15 minutes.
