I have seen A LOT of people who were unsuccessful in pairing their phones by following these simple steps.
For them, I'd just like to add some information.

1. They should check the firmware/software of the car and make sure it is updated

2. Make sure, their phone Bluetooth is turned on - unlike iPhones, Androids permanently turn off Bluetooth unless it is switched on.

3. It is highly unlikely, but the Bluetooth beacon of either your car or the phone might not be working. The best way to check this is to try and pair another phone with the car. Or try to pair your phone in another car. This is a quick way to figure out what the problem is.

I'm just putting this out there cause I know a lot of people face similar issues. If there is anything I forgot i'd love to hear from other people.
