What you will need
Procedure
- Remove the trunk door panel. Click on this link to see the step-by-step procedure on removing and installing the trunk panel.
- Locate the rear fog light socket and reverse light socket behind the inner tail light assembly.
- Remove the sockets by turning then pulling it out from the tail light assembly.

- Remove the rear fog light bulb from the socket by twisting it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
- Line up the new rear fog light bulb to the socket and twist it clockwise to lock it in place.
- Remove the reverse light from the socket by pulling it out. Then line up the new reverse light to the socket and push it in to lock it into place.
- Reinstall the sockets back to the tail light assembly by pushing them in their original position.
- Reinstall the trunk panel. For more help with this step, see this guide.
Notes
- Do not touch light bulbs with bare hands as that can shorten the life of the light bulb.
- Installing LED bulbs:
- If you are upgrading to LED light bulbs, and the bulb doesn't turn on when you install it simply remove the LED bulb and rotate it 180 degrees and reinstall it.
- Certain vehicles may trigger a fault message stating faulty or burned light bulb when the original bulb has been upgraded to LED. If that is the case, use halogen bulb or get an Error Free LED bulb.
