  7. Remove the brake pad wear sensor by simply pulling out the sensor's connector and popping it out from the brake pad using a pick tool or screwdriver.

  9. Get a multimeter and set it to the resistance settings.Setting the multimeter to resistance settings.

     

  10. Connect the probes of the multimeter into the brake pad wear sensor connector. If there's no beep sound once you connect the probes, then there's a problem with the brake pad wear sensor. The sensor needs to be replaced. Checking the resistance on the brake pad wear sensor.

     

  11. If there's no beep sound, then it means that you need to replace the brake pad of the vehicle. To replace the sensor, simply pull it out of the connector and from the brake pad. Install the new sensor in reverse order by pushing it into the connector and brake pad.
