Replace Door Control Module 2006-2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221

What you will need

• T30 Screwdriver
• Pick tool
• Mercedes-Benz S550 Door control module

Procedure

1. Remove the door panel. If you need help with this step follow this tutorial first. 

    

2. Locate the control door module on the right side of the inner door panel.

    

3. Disconnect all the electrical connectors connected to the control door module by pushing the clip and pulling it out.

    

   
4. Remove the wiring harness from the clips on the door control module.

    

   
5. Remove the T30 screw on the door control module and slide it to the right to remove it from the inner door panel.

    

   
6. Get the new door control module, line it up to the inner door panel, and slide it to the left to lock in its place.

    

   
7. Reinstall the T30 screw on the door control module.

    

8. Connect all the electrical connectors to the new door control module.

    

   
9. Hook up the wiring harness to the ports of the door control module.

    

10. Reinstall the door panel.
