The easiest place where you can find the Audi VIN is on the windshield's lower level corner. Even though the VIN is printed on a metal plate on the dashboard, it can be seen through the glass from the outside.
Driver's Door Jamb

Open the driver's door and look for the sticker that has your AUDI VIN. This sticker will also have the production date of your Audi. The production date is usually a two-digit month and a two-digit year.
For example, '05/17'
Front Strut Tower

An Audi VIN can also be found on the front strut tower. Typically on the passenger side. In the picture above, you can see the VIN engraved on the metal.
Check Audi VIN via MMI
You can find your Audi VIN on the Multi-Media Interface as well.
Follow these directions to pull up the VIN.
- Turn on ignition.
- Press CAR on the MMI buttons.
- Scroll to the bottom until you see VIN Check
- Select OK to display the Audi VIN.
Note that the Audi VIN may be engraved in other locations, including the trunk or under the seats. You can also find the Audi VIN on your registration or vehicle title.
