No. If the airbag control module records a crash event, the crash data cannot be reset with a scan tool, including dealer-level scanners. This is true even if the airbags did not deploy, as long as a crash event was stored in the module.

In most cases, the airbag control module must either be replaced or removed from the vehicle and sent to a specialist who resets crash data. Dealers will typically replace any deployed airbags and replace the airbag control module as part of the repair process.
