In 2009, a small but ambitious auto shop opened in Fremont, California. With no bays, no lifts, and just a passion for BMWs, Nima Voss’s father laid the foundation for what would become BimmerOnly. Initially focused on auto sales, they soon discovered their opportunity: repairing and modifying BMWs in ways other shops couldn’t. From fixing tricky instrument clusters to tackling electronic issues, they became known for solving the problems others avoided.

As demand grew, so did the shop. By 2015, Nima took over, expanding BimmerOnly from a modest operation to a full-service BMW repair and performance center. Moving from their tiny original space to a much larger, street-front shop with eight bays and a full team of expert technicians solidified their place in the Bay Area’s BMW community.

BimmerOnly is more than just a repair shop. It’s a retreat for BMW enthusiasts. From subframe reinforcements on E46s to full SMG-to-manual swaps, they handle everything from routine maintenance to high-performance modifications. Their collection of BMW-specific tools and computers allows them to work at a level that rivals dealerships but with a personal touch and expertise that keeps customers returning.

As Nima’s skills evolved, so did his ambitions. His love for race cars led him to explore fabrication, building custom exhausts, roll cages, and performance parts. While this side of the business is still growing, his vision is clear: BimmerOnly will remain true to its roots, but he dreams of launching a dedicated performance division, crafting purpose-built race cars, and even forming a competitive race team that could one day compete on a national stage.

For now, BimmerOnly is a testament to passion, dedication, and hard work. It’s a shop that grew from a single idea into a BMW enthusiast’s paradise, with an eye on an even faster future.
