2006-2010

The Jeep Commander, produced from 2006 to 2010, was Jeep’s attempt to offer a more spacious and family-friendly SUV while retaining the brand’s iconic ruggedness. Its distinctive boxy design, reminiscent of traditional Jeep styling, featured three-row seating, accommodating up to seven passengers. The Commander was built on the same platform as the Jeep Grand Cherokee but boasted a longer wheelbase to provide extra room for passengers and cargo. This Jeep model was available with various four-wheel-drive systems, including Jeep’s renowned Quadra-Drive II system, enhancing its off-road capability. Inside, the Commander offered a comfortable and well-appointed cabin with upscale features, such as available leather upholstery and a user-friendly infotainment system.
