Instructions:

Locate the Cabin Air Filter Housing:
The exterior cabin air filter is typically located under the hood, near the windshield wipers, on the passenger side of the vehicle. It’s housed in a plastic compartment.
Access the Filter Housing:
Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the filter housing cover.
Depending on the model year and configuration, you may need to remove some plastic covers or panels to access the filter housing.
Remove the Filter Housing Cover:
Use a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool to carefully pry open the tabs or clips securing the filter housing cover.
Once the cover is removed, you’ll have access to the exterior cabin air filter.
Remove the Old Filter:
Carefully slide out the old exterior cabin air filter from the housing. Take note of its orientation for proper replacement.
Install the New Filter:
Insert the new exterior cabin air filter into the housing, ensuring it’s oriented correctly according to any markings or arrows on the filter.
Make sure the filter is seated properly and fits snugly within the housing.
Replace the Filter Housing Cover:
Place the filter housing cover back onto the housing.
Press down firmly to engage the tabs or clips and secure the cover in place.
Final Checks:
Close the hood of the vehicle.
Start the engine and test the operation of the climate control system to ensure proper airflow.
Check for any signs of air leaks around the filter housing cover.
