🚙 WHICH JEEP RENEGADE THIS APPLIES TO
This was filmed on a pre-facelift Jeep Renegade (BU), which covers the 2015 through 2018 model years.
IMPORTANT: Jeep gave the Renegade a facelift for the 2019 model year that REDESIGNED the front bumper and headlamps. The general concept is the same, but the 2019–2023 facelift bumper and headlight assemblies use different fasteners and mounting, so the exact steps will differ for those years. Make sure you know whether you have a pre-facelift (2015–2018) or facelift (2019–2023) Renegade.
🔁 RELATED / SISTER MODEL (WIDER HELP)
The Jeep Renegade shares its FCA Small Wide 4×4 platform with the Fiat 500X, which is built alongside it. The general strategy — finding the hidden clips, freeing the fender edges, and unbolting the headlight — is a helpful reference for Fiat 500X owners too. Note that the 500X has its own front-end styling, bumper cover, and headlight assemblies, so the fastener locations and exact procedure are different.

💡 QUICK TIP
Take your time finding every hidden push clip before you pull — most cracked bumper tabs happen from prying while one fastener is still holding. Bag and label your screws by location so reassembly is quick, and gently release wiring connectors rather than yanking the harness.
