2015–2023 Jeep Renegade 2.4L Engine Mount Replacement (Step-by-Step DIY)

In this video I walk through replacing an engine mount on the 2.4L Tigershark (MultiAir 2) Jeep Renegade. I cover safely supporting the engine, locating the mount, removing the old worn mount, and installing the new one with everything torqued back down. If you’ve been feeling a clunk on acceleration, a shudder at idle, or extra vibration through the cabin, a failing mount is a common culprit and this is a very doable DIY repair.
This generation: This applies to the first-generation Jeep Renegade (BU), 2015–2023, including the 2019 facelift/refresh models — so 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Renegades with the 2.4L.
Platform/sister vehicles (most direct match): Engine mounts are platform-specific, so the closest matches share both the platform and the 2.4L drivetrain with the Renegade:

Fiat 500X 2.4L — 2016–2023 (true platform sister, built on the same FCA Small Wide platform)
Jeep Compass (MP) 2.4L — 2017–2021 (same Small Wide platform family)

If you drive a 500X or a newer Compass, your mount setup is very similar and this video should map over closely.
