ENGINES AND RELATED MODELS
This generation came with the 2.5L Duratec, the 1.6L EcoBoost (2013-2016), the 1.5L EcoBoost (2017-2019), and the 2.0L EcoBoost. The 2.0L EcoBoost is also used in the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Ford Explorer, Lincoln MKC, and Lincoln MKZ. The 1.5L and 1.6L EcoBoost are also found in the Ford Fusion, and the 2.5L Duratec in the Ford Fusion and Transit Connect. The Escape is sold as the Ford Kuga outside North America and shares its platform with the Lincoln MKC, so the process is nearly identical on those as well.
Quick tip: check your oil every other fill up. Turbocharged EcoBoost engines can use some oil between changes, and catching it early is cheap insurance.
