Fog light burned out on your Jeep Renegade? In this video we walk you through the complete fog light bulb replacement — step by step — so you can swap it yourself, restore your visibility in bad weather, and skip the shop bill.

🚙 WHICH JEEP RENEGADE THIS APPLIES TO
This was filmed on a pre-facelift Jeep Renegade (BU), which covers the 2015 through 2018 model years.
IMPORTANT: Jeep facelifted the Renegade for the 2019 model year and REDESIGNED the front bumper, so the 2019–2023 fog light housing and access differ. Also note that fog lights are trim-dependent — not every Renegade came equipped with them from the factory. Confirm your year and trim before you start.

If the new bulb still doesn’t light, check the connector for corrosion and confirm the fog light fuse and switch are good — and remember most cars only run fog lights with the parking or low-beam lights on, so test with your headlights in the right position. Avoid touching the glass of halogen bulbs with bare fingers, as skin oils can shorten bulb life.
