Reset the steering angle sensor on your Jeep Renegade after an alignment, suspension work, or battery disconnect. This guide shows you how to perform the SAS calibration with a scan tool to clear the warning lights and restore proper traction and stability control.
A steering angle sensor that is out of calibration can trigger ESP, traction control, or ABS warning lights and codes like C0710. The reset takes only a couple of minutes with the right scanner.
You will need an OBD2 scanner that supports steering angle calibration. The UCAN-II-D performs the steering angle reset along with 1,000 plus special functions on Jeep and Chrysler models.
