Yes, the YOUCANIC scanner can register non-OEM batteries as long as the battery meets the manufacturer’s specifications for your vehicle (correct group size, CCA rating, and battery type).

Use the Battery Registration function in the scanner’s Maintenance menu to update the vehicle’s battery management system with the new battery parameters.

If your scanner’s internal battery is faulty and under warranty, contact support@youcanic.com — a replacement may be covered.
