Beginner Applies to: UCAN-II, UCAN-II Pro

Pre-scan and post-scan diagnostics help you verify that repairs were successful:

Pre-Scan

  1. Connect to your vehicle and select your make
  2. Use SmartVIN to identify the vehicle
  3. Run a Quick Scan to read all modules
  4. Save the report and clear all codes

Post-Scan

  1. After completing repairs, drive the vehicle for at least 30 minutes
  2. Run another Quick Scan
  3. Any codes that return after clearing indicate an unresolved issue
