FCA Stellantis started installing a security gateway module on 2018 vehicles that prevent DIYers and mechanics from fully troubleshooting a vehicle. Unless you register the scan tool with FCA and pay a yearly subscription. This limitation affects all scan tools. The good news is that it is possible to bypass this limitation without paying a yearly subscription and simply by using Chrysler 12+8 adapter available online.
