How Do I Pair a New VCI Bluetooth Adapter?

Intermediate Applies to: UCAN-II, UCAN-II Pro

If you are replacing your VCI adapter, follow these steps:

Part 1: Unbind Old VCI and Pair New One

  1. Power on the scanner and connect to WiFi
  2. From the home screen, open VCI Manager
  3. Select Unbind VCI to remove the old adapter
  4. Connect the new VCI to the scanner using the USB cable
  5. Wait for automatic binding to complete

Part 2: Clear Data and Update

  1. Go to Auxiliary Tools → File Manager
  2. Navigate to Internal Storage → UCAN-II → Diagnostics
  3. Delete the folder matching the scanner’s serial number
  4. Return to the home screen, open Update, and select Update All
  5. Repeat until “0 updates available” appears
