How do I update the UCAN scanner?

Updating the UCAN scanner is simple and can be done directly on the device without a computer.

How to Update

1. Connect to WiFi: Go to Settings on the scanner and connect to your WiFi network or mobile hotspot
2. Check for updates: Tap the Update button on the home screen
3. Download and install: The scanner will download and install any available updates automatically
4. Restart if prompted: The scanner may restart to complete the update

Tips for a Smooth Update

• Make sure the scanner is fully charged or plugged in before starting an update
• Use a stable WiFi connection — avoid updating on weak or intermittent networks
