How to Replace Files on YOUCANIC Scanner
To replace faulty files in your scanner, you can follow the video guide linked below:
1. Download and unzip the file our software development team sent to you.
2. Move this file to a USB drive, or connect your scanner to your computer directly.
3. Open Auxiliary Tools on the second page of the homescreen, then select File Browser.
4. There should be two options on the following screen: Internal Storage and USB (or something along those lines).  If you don’t see the second storage option, restart your scanner and try again.
5. Select Internal Storage > UCAN-II > Scanner > Diagnose > then select the file on the following screen. It will be named after the serial number registered to your scanner.
6. Select Vehicles and find the make associated with the file you would like to replace.
7. Find the files you need to replace, and rename them. We don’t recommend deleting them in case you need these files in the future.
8. Once you have renamed all of the files that need to be replaced, press the small home button at the top of your screen, and select the USB option.
9. Press and hold to select multiple files, and press the copy button at the bottom of the screen.
10. Go back to Internal storage, and paste the files in the proper section. UCAN-II > Scanner > Diagnose > OCAN-titled file > vehicles > Select your make > paste.
